Principal Coaching

We believe a great coach is integral to thriving in the role of school leader- especially in those first few years.  We provide tailored one-on-one coaching for principals within their early years of school leadership to support them in setting and achieving their year-long academic, adult culture and student experience goals. Thrive Education Collective’s Principal Coaching is a 10-12 month partnership that leverages competency based coaching and data driven leadership to build principal skill as people and systems leaders. 

Thrive Principal Coaches have all been principal themselves, with a track-record of ABSOLUTE achievement across the key indicators of school health: academic results and a culture of connection and focus for students and adults alike.

Professional Learning Services

At Thrive we believe that impactful professional development is the fastest route to elevating the quality of teaching and learning. And, we know that strategically designed, high impact development requires high levels of capacity and skill, as well as tailoring to your unique context, strengths, and goals.

Despite its potential, organizations often find they are spending significant time and money on developing their staff while getting limited results. We can help.  Through our combined decades of experience in designing and delivering high impact professional development, we have codified an approach to professional development scope and sequence design, build, and delivery grounded in research-backed pedagogy and first hand experience on how adults learn best.

Thrive Education Collective’s Professional Learning Services offers a unique approach to professional development support through two distinct options:

  1. Tailored Professional Development Design. Save dozens of hours of leader time by getting your professional development scope and sequence, sessions, and materials designed and ready for your staff to deliver. We’ll get to know your team and your needs through initial conversations. You’ll get advice and recommendations that you can tweak or approve. We’ll build sessions that meet your learning targets, and help you prepare to lead them on site, as well as think about how to follow-through so learning sticks.

  2. Professional Development Design and Delivery Coaching. In this train-the-trainer approach, we build capacity within your organization by training your leader to improve their skill at designing and facilitating professional development while coaching and supporting them in doing the work. Our approach tailors the amount of co-planning, teaching, rehearsing, and feedback to the leader to ensure they build transferable skill while growing with each opportunity.

Academic Impact Coaching
